Full Job Description Anticipated Employment Date:
September 1, 2026 Appointment Type Classified, Non-Competitive;
Probationary Anticipated Work Location/Hours:
William Kaegebein Elementary Approx 8:35 am to 3:05 pm - 10 month
Salary:
$23.59/hr per SRP Contract (including Aide differential)
Duties:
Work with students on a one to one basis, in small groups, and/or in a classroom setting Assist with transitions so that students participate in classroom activities Provide physical assistance to students Assist students with toileting and other behavioral support responsibilities Supervise students and perform other services as determined by the teacher and principal
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; or four years of experience and knowledge where specialized duties are involved Ability to work with student(s) Patience in dealing with students with disabilities Good communication skills Empathetic but able to positively motivate students to do well
Qualifications Desired:
Teacher aide experience preferred Safety Care® De-Escalation training preferred
