We are seeking a Lead Teacher or a Teacher Assistant with the potential and desire to grow into a Lead Teacher role. We believe that passion, dedication, and a genuine love for children are just as important as experience. If you enjoy singing, storytelling, arts and crafts, sensory activities, and creating exciting learning experiences for toddlers and preschoolers, we would love to meet you.
What We Are Looking For:
Passion for working with young children Warm, nurturing, and patient personality Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching Enjoys singing, dancing, storytelling, and arts & crafts Ability to make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful Reliable, professional, and dependable Positive attitude and team-player mindset Willingness to learn and grow professionally Ability to create and implement age-appropriate activities Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues
Responsibilities:
Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment Lead or assist with daily activities, circle time, music, movement, and art projects Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and language development Foster children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness Collaborate with fellow teachers and families Follow all OCFS and program policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Experience in childcare, daycare, preschool, or related field preferred but not required CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or willingness to pursue professional development is a plus Must be eligible to work in the United States Background check and fingerprint clearance required Why Join us? Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
