Whether assisting in daily classroom activities or stepping in as a substitute, your energy and dedication will help foster children's growth and development. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote child development and learning. Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and positive behavior management. Assist with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and maintaining a clean, inviting environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster strong partnerships. Follow all safety protocols including first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid procedures to respond promptly to emergencies. Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care tailored to individual requirements. Maintain accurate attendance records and document observations related to children's development for ongoing assessment. Experience Prior experience working with children in preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly valued. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related safety training is preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members. Previous roles involving child supervision, caregiving, or teaching young children will strengthen your application.
