Job Description
Full Time 3-K/PreK Teacher Assistant needed for classroom of 15: Should have previous experience working with children ages 2-5 Supervise and monitor the safety of students. Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children. Assist students keep good hygiene. Organize activities so that students can learn about the world and explore interests. Work with Lead Teacher to develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime. Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents. Keep records of children's progress, routines, and interest. Requirements Qualifications - Required. Minimum age of 21 High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent interpersonal communication skills A commitment to working with children in a developmental setting and a sincere desire to have a meaningful effect on their lives. Able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Perform all physical aspects of the position, including frequently moving around, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
