Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid NY State Teaching Assistant (TA) certification is required Experience working in K-3 or elementary classroom settings, especially with students who exhibit varying behaviors Background as a paraprofessional or similar role in a school environment Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff Flexibility and patience to adapt to various classroom situations Genuine passion for helping young students succeed academically and socially

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to teachers and students during instruction and activities Assist with classroom management and help reinforce positive behavior strategies Foster an environment that encourages social-emotional growth Work with individual students or small groups as directed by classroom teachers Support documentation of student progress and behavioral observations Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and nurturing school culture
