Job Description

Little Tulip Daycare Center is looking for qualified Assistant Teacher for the Two Years Old classroom. An Assistant Teacher will demonstrate skills such as classroom management, assisting and caring for young children. Assistants should be able to think creatively, make good decisions and communicate effectively with others. They should also be skilled at taking direction and working as part of a team. Job Schedule Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Responsibilities for
Assistant Teacher:
Supervises the children with colleague at all times. Opens classroom in morning, greets parents and children, assists in making a smooth transition. Assists with meals, diapering, toileting, hand washing etc. Performs general housekeeping tasks, clean classroom and toys. Assists teachers in children lessons and activities. Performs other duties necessary Qualifications At least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED or higher Minimum of three years of experience working with young children Provide names and contact information for three references Reliable and punctual Meet annual professional development requirements, per NYC DOH regulations
