About Us Country Kids Schoolhouse is a warm, established preschool located in Bedford Village serving children ages 2-5. Our program blends early childhood development, hands-on learning, and daily outdoor exploration in a nurturing and structured environment. We are seeking passionate and dedicated early childhood professionals to support our classrooms in a variety of roles, including Assistant Teachers, Floaters, Head Teachers, and Substitutes. Qualifications We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with young children and are comfortable being part of a collaborative teaching team. The ideal candidate is warm, kind, dependable, and actively engaged with children throughout the day. Candidates bring a nurturing presence to the classroom, support children's curiosity and development, and are open to learning and growing within an early childhood environment. Previous experience in a preschool or early childhood classroom is preferred, ideally two years or more . Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work well with others are essential. Daily Responsibilities Support the Lead Teacher during classroom activities and routines Engage actively with children during play, learning activities, and outdoor time Assist with transitions, snack/lunch, and end-of-day routines Provide attentive supervision indoors and outdoors Help maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Collaborate with staff to support the daily rhythm of the school
