Position Title Teacher Aide, BEC Required Application Type School Related Personnel Salary/Pay Scale $16.00 - $18.35 Job Description Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is hiring Teacher Aides to support students across our Special Education programs throughout the region. This is meaningful, hands-on work where your presence truly matters every single day. As a Teacher Aide, you'll play a critical role in helping students learn, grow, and succeed by providing individualized support in a structured, team-based school environment. Teacher Aides are often the steady, trusted adults our students rely on most. Our aides provide 1:1 support, helping students navigate academics, social-emotional learning, and daily routines. What You'll Do As a Teacher Aide, you will: Support students individually or in small groups under the direction of a certified teacher Assist students with academic tasks, social skills, and daily routines Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment Implement behavior support plans and follow established routines Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff Assist with transitions, mobility, and personal care as needed Training is provided — you do not need classroom experience to apply.
