Staff members help facilitate engaging activities, build positive relationships with participants, and foster an atmosphere of joy, belonging, and learning. This position reports to the Director of Youth & Teen Engagement. Key Responsibilities Supervise and engage your assigned group children or teens in the provided age-appropriate activities throughout the program. Lead and assist with crafts, games, discussions, service projects, and other educational and recreational experiences provided. Ensure the safety and well-being of participants by following all Temple Sinai policies and procedures. Assist with participant check-in/check-out, transitions between activities, and attendance as assigned. Help set up, organize, and clean activity spaces before, during, and after the program during the designated staff hours noted above .Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, volunteers, and fellow staff members. Model positive behavior, teamwork, flexibility, and enthusiasm throughout the day. Respond calmly and appropriately to behavioral or emergency situations, seeking support from supervisors when needed and following the provided procedures
