Children's Corner Learning Center in Scarsdale, NY is seeking to hire Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher positions to help enrich the learning experience of our children. Our program is year-round and serves children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old.

There are several positions available:

Full-Time Lead Teacher Full-Time Assistant Teacher As a Group Teacher or Assistant, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Creating a warm, welcoming, nurturing, and safe environment for all children. Keeping a clean and safe environment and following all

guidelines. Planning, scheduling, and implementing lesson plans appropriate for the age group. Providing supervision and assistance at all times. Assisting in feeding, diapering/toileting, and all necessary aspects of caring for children. Managing daily attendance records as well as daily sheets to be sent home with children. Communicating appropriately with parents/guardians, and co-workers. Flexible and willing to assist according to the overall needs of the center.

Group Teacher Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field OR active CDA credential OR 9 credits in Early Childhood Education courses with a plan of study to complete the degree.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with children 0-5 years old.

Assistant Teachers Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience working with children 0-5 years old. The hourly pay rate offered is dependent on the position, and qualifications.
