Full Job Description About Us:
At Busy Blossoms, we're more than just a childcare center — we're a supportive community focused on providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to learn and grow. We're looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Daycare Assistant / Floater to join our team!
Position Overview:
The Daycare Assistant / Floater plays a key support role across classrooms, assisting lead teachers, supervising children, and maintaining a clean and organized learning environment. This flexible position requires someone who enjoys working with different age groups and can adapt easily throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in caring for children ages [6 weeks to 8 years] Supervise playtime, meals, naps, and activities Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Step in as needed in various classrooms (infant, toddler, or preschool) Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents Follow all health and safety protocols and center policies
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children (preferred but not required) High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 18 years old CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements Positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for working with kids!
