Job Description

Teaching Assistant (26-27)

DUTIES:

Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a full-time Teacher Assistant. Candidate must be able to work with advanced students as well as students with special needs. Candidate must be able to assist in the instruction of Career & Technical Education (CTE) curricula to students enrolled in CTE programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be properly certified by the New York State Education Department to work as a Teaching Assistant.

CHARACTERISTICS DESIRED

Ability to work with students and staff in a CTE classroom setting and provide clear and accurate assistance to students in the program. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
