Multiple Open Positions:
St. Joseph School St. Joseph School- Amherst St.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist classroom teachers in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students in one of our K through 5th grade classrooms.
- Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce classroom instruction and support student learning.
- Provide classroom support during instructional time, transitions, centers, and other daily classroom activities.
- Help maintain a nurturing, safe, organized, and Christ-centered learning environment.
- Support teachers in preparing classroom materials, organizing supplies, copying resources, and maintaining classroom displays.
- Assist with classroom management and encourage positive student behavior through consistent expectations and guidance.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and other assigned duties.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and school matters.
- Demonstrate consistent attendance to maintain a focus on student learning and classroom continuity.
