Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience in a classroom, daycare, or related educational support role Familiarity with special education, individualized education plans (IEPs), or 1:1 student support Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging approach High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or paraprofessional certification is a plus) Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

Provide focused, compassionate assistance to a designated student in either 1st or 6th grade Support learning activities, help implement lesson plans, and encourage engagement Assist with academic tasks, social skills development, and behavioral goals Adapt instructional strategies to fit the students unique needs Maintain accurate and confidential records as required Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
