Job Description

Toddler Teacher Lilly's Pad Child Care Center serves children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We are currently looking for a infant teacher/toddler teacher to prepare the minds of children for future learning. You will teach them important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life. An early childhood teacher must have a great love and patience for children, as they are still very young and therefore able to be taught. The ideal candidate will be able to follow all child development techniques and educational methods. Lilly's Pad Child Care Center offers all children the chance to learn from its diverse learning experiences. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so that they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.
Requirements:
Early education experience/ CDA preferred. High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to pass BCI/FBI background check, must complete an Employee Medical Statement as required by Ohio Department of Job & Family Services ( standard physical form). Skills Excellent understanding of the principles of early childhood education Good knowledge of child development methods and methods in early childhood education Good physical condition and stamina Excellent oral and written communication skills Cool-tempered, friendly, reliable, and reliable Passionate about what she does and loves to teach Responsibilities Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts etc.) Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Track children's progress and report to parents Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and psyche Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Full-time Pay:
$14.50 - $16.00 per hour
