Description:
Under the supervision of the building principal, this person will support the Kindergarten Teacher by assisting with all activities to ensure the safety and welfare of each child as well as creating and maintaining supportive parent-staff relations.
Job Summary:
7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, 195 days/year.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma with passage of the ParaPro Assessment prior to employment One year of related successful work experience Strong interpersonal skills Experience in operating basic office equipment, such as copiers Ability to lift equipment, supplies and/or children weighing at least forty (40) pounds Physical ability to perform all of the essential functions of the job. A valid one year or four year Educational Aide Permit issued by the
Ohio Department of Education Preferred Qualification:
Experience working with students with special needs; Degree or coursework in
