In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, promote positive behavior, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners during their foundational years. Openings for first shift are available Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on early childhood education, literacy, math, and social-emotional development Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized learning environment for infants and toddlers Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other age-appropriate activities to promote development in communication skills and motor skills Help monitor children's progress and behavior, applying behavior management techniques when necessary to foster positive interactions Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a transparent understanding of each child's growth and needs Assist with classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards Valuable Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with infants and toddlers in a classroom or childcare setting Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to support literacy education and basic math concepts through engaging activities Familiarity with Montessori or private school teaching methods is a plus Proven classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment Compassionate mentoring skills to support children's social-emotional growth Strong organizational skills for proofreading educational materials and maintaining accurate records This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to contribute to early childhood development while gaining valuable classroom experience.
