Qualifications for above position:

A high school diploma

A valid license to practice as an educational aide.

Passage of the Paraprofessional Test, Two year degree or CDA Certification (as applicable)

Child Abuse certification

Child First Aid and CPR Certification

Communicable Disease Certification

Clear BCI/FBI report

Classroom experience with handicapped students

Must be able to deal appropriately with students who exhibit emotional or behavioral problems, aggressive behavior, or physical problems Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate.
