Job Summary We are seeking energetic and compassionate Daycare Teachers and Assistant Preschool Teachers to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will inspire young minds, foster developmental growth, and create a safe, engaging classroom environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children explore, learn, and develop essential skills for their future. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active participation Support children with toddler care needs and assist with behavior management strategies to maintain a respectful learning environment Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and following mandated reporting laws for child welfare incidents Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that incorporate childhood development best practices and standardized testing when applicable Maintain detailed records of children's activities, developmental progress, and classroom supplies Requirements Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting; classroom management skills are essential Knowledge of early childhood education principles, curriculum development, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention methods is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training in childhood development is preferred Ability to follow mandated reporting laws diligently and uphold child welfare standards Prior experience teaching physical education or literacy education is advantageous Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth through engaging lesson planning and classroom activities
