Job Description

Stark State College is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time instructor to join our Commercial Driver's License Training Department. The successful candidate will contribute to the college's commitment to academic excellence, student success, and community engagement.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
Classroom instruction, range exercises, and over-the-road instruction for CDL training classes at Stark State College. Classes are offered for both Class A and Class B CDL training. Hours vary and are based upon enrollment and the College's needs. The ability to teach students with a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles. The use of learning management systems and/or learning new software as needed.
To Be Considered, You'll Need:
High School Diploma or GED Requires effective communication and presentation skills. Requires experience using MS Office products. Must be able to meet College insurability requirements. Additional requirements to teach
CLASS A:
Must hold an Ohio Class A CDL License and Must have 3 years of full-time equivalent driving experience. Additional requirements to teach
CLASS B:
Must hold an Ohio Class B CDL License and Must have 3 years of full-time equivalent driving experience.
