Job Description

About Ivybrook Academy Solon Ivybrook Academy is a nationally recognized early childhood program built on a blended philosophy of Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and project-based learning. Our classrooms are intentional learning environments designed to develop the whole child: curious, capable, and confident. We are not a daycare. We are something entirely different. Our Solon campus opens this year, and we are looking for an Assistant Educator to join our team. A Place to Grow This is one of the best places we know of to grow as an early childhood educator. You will work alongside an experienced Lead Educator and a curriculum director who takes teacher development seriously. If your goal is to deepen your craft, learn the Reggio and Montessori approaches in real practice, and grow into a Lead Educator role over time, this is built for that. What You Will Do Support the Lead Educator in creating and maintaining a beautiful, intentional classroom environment Help carry out daily curriculum grounded in Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and project-based learning Build warm, attentive relationships with every child in the room Support smooth daily routines, transitions, mealtimes, and outdoor time Partner with families through everyday warmth and connection Learn and grow through hands-on mentorship from your Lead Educator and our curriculum director Who We Are Looking For We hire for passion and character first. Credentials matter, but they are not the whole picture.
