Tipp City Schools | Tippecanoe Middle School
Position Type:
Classified Staff Tippecanoe Middle School is seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to support grades 6-8 students beginning the 2026-27 school year. The Educational Assistant will work closely with classroom teachers to provide academic support, supervision, and individualized assistance to students, helping ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Support classroom instruction under the guidance of licensed teachers Provide academic assistance and intervention to students as needed Supervise students during classroom, lunch, and other school activities Assist with behavior management, organization, and student engagement Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Assist with online learning platforms or remote assignments when needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with middle school students preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations Dependable, patient, and adaptable
