Job Description

We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years. The ideal candidate will follow classroom schedules, implement curriculum, and maintain high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities Child Care & Supervision:
Maintain active, "eyes-on" supervision at all times (name-to-face counting).
Curriculum Implementation:
Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development.
Daily Care Routines:
Perform feeding, diapering, and naptime routines with care.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Parent Communication:
Build positive relationships with families, providing daily updates on child progress.
Assessment:
Observe and document children's developmental milestones, using assessments to inform individual instruction.
Compliance:
Adhere to all state licensing regulations, health protocols, and, if applicable, Head Start Performance Standards.
Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in an infant/toddler child care environment (minimum 6 months preferred but not mandatory).
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, sit on the floor, and bend/stoop frequently.
Certifications:
Background check required (cost covered), CPR, and First Aid certification required
