Responsible for afternoon care, center activities and of children enrolled in Choctaw Nation Head Start while following all Head Start, Tribal, State and Federal regulations. Monitor the safety of the children Adhere to DHS licensing regulations, tribal regulations and other state and federal regulations pertaining to child care Make sound decisions in emergency situations based on program procedures and regulations in the absence of supervisory personnel Maintain Child/Staff ratio at all times Interact with children consistently, positively and appropriately during playground and classroom activities Cleaning duties according to need and schedule set by supervisor Assist teaching staff with preparation of activities Participate in required trainings and tribal functions as need Assist in classroom set-up for the next week Act as Bus Monitor/Driver as needed Other duties as may be assigned

Physical Demands:

Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. Requires a normal range of hearing and vision.
