Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Childcare Teacher / Assistant Teacher! In this rewarding role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive developmental experiences for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Duties Supervise and engage children during play, learning activities, and daily routines to promote safety and development. Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that support childhood development milestones. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences. Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times. Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other basic childcare needs for infants and toddlers. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings. Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles. Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) to handle emergencies confidently. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements for child safety. Pay:
$10.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
