Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Ones Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture the growth and development of young children. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for preschoolers and toddlers. Your positive energy and caring approach will inspire children to explore, learn, and thrive during their formative years. Paid internship opportunities are available, offering valuable hands-on experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Engage with children through interactive play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other educational activities that foster social skills and creativity. Help with daily childcare routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and hygiene to ensure comfort and well-being. Monitor children's behavior using positive behavior management techniques to encourage good conduct and emotional regulation. Support special education needs by adapting activities for children with disabilities or additional support requirements. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to ensure safety at all times. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative in supporting children's needs. Passion for nurturing young minds through engaging activities that promote growth across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains. Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
