In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans focused on literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and overall childhood development Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, outdoor play, and rest periods to ensure safety and positive behavior Engage children in educational activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking using educational technologies and teaching tools Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong home-school connections Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with educational regulations and health standards Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt instructional strategies for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism Support emergency procedures by maintaining current first aid and CPR certifications and responding promptly to any incidents or injuries Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience working with children in preschool or similar settings, including classroom experience and behavior management techniques Knowledge of special education practices, literacy education, math instruction, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork with fellow educators Proficiency in using computers and educational technologies to enhance learning experiences Ability to supervise children effectively while maintaining a safe environment through child supervision and childcare best practices Familiarity with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), educational compliance standards, and regulation adherence Proven skills in mentoring, tutoring, proofreading educational materials, and supporting behavioral growth through positive reinforcement Join us in shaping bright futures!
