Job Summary The College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, fixed term Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor of Teaching position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the School Head. Appointment at the Assistant Professor of Teaching rank is anticipated; however, appointment at a promoted rank may be considered depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate. The responsibilities of this position in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS) at Oregon State University (OSU) are teaching on-campus and online (Ecampus) courses in geology; advising student research at the undergraduate and graduate levels; conducting research and scholarship; serving on unit, college, and universitymittees; and professional service andmunity engagement. Teaching and advising are 75% of the position, research and scholarship are 15%, and service is 10%. This is a fixed term, 9 month, 1.0 FTE academic appointment.
