REQUIREMENTS
  • 18 years of age or over.
Preferred:
  • High School Diploma or GED may be required.
JOB DUTIES
  • Perform a variety of duties in assisting a licensed teacher in the implementation and support of instructional programs for students in group or one-on-one settings.
  • Prepare instructional materials, maintains classroom discipline, and leads planned activities designated by licensed teacher.
  • Patrol halls, cafeteria, lavatories and to supervise students on the playground, during emergency drills and assemblies with an understanding of a safe environment.
  • Perform routine clerical duties including copying, laminating, filing, etc.
  • Help to maintain a positive school-wide learning environment.
DAYS AND HOURS
Schedule varies depending on need. The number of hours worked may change from week to week.
PAY:
$15.43 per hour. Teaching Assistants, Preschool, Elementary, Middle, and Secondary School, Except Special Education Access our Statewide and Regional occupation report for more information about wages, employment outlooks, skills, training programs, related occupations, and more. Compensation $15.43 per Hour
