Elementary Instructional assistant, focus on working with primary students
Qualifications:
1. Ability to maintain clerical records and filing systems. 2. Ability to make some independent judgments with prescribed policies and procedures. 3. Ability to lead student exercises and activities. 4. Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions. 5. Ability to communicate with appropriate student age group requiring the use of both empathetic and disciplinarian approaches. 6. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, other staff and students. 7. Reasonable knowledge of spelling, punctuation, capitalization, word usage and sentence construction of the English language as necessary to detect and correct basic errors in prepared material. 8. Reasonable knowledge of office practices and procedures. 9. Demonstrated aptitude as necessary to perform duties of a tutorial nature as well as basic clerical tasks. 10. Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with staff and students.

Physical Requirements:
Working closely with students can be both physically and emotionally tiring. May require exposure to adverse weather conditions and noisy work areas. 5.5 Hours a day / 186 Days a school Year Range 10 $20.48
