Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or similar role within an educational setting Ability to support teachers in both general and special education classrooms Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and staff Reliable, responsible, and adaptable to changing classroom needs High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in education or related fields are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers by reinforcing lesson content and supporting individual or small groups of students Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs Supervise students in a variety of settings, ensuring safety and encouraging positive behavior Prepare educational materials and organize classroom resources as directed by teaching staff Aid in classroom management and provide support during transitions and activities Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about supporting students and contributing positively to a school community.
