Job Description
Diamond Street Early childhood Center seeks to hire individuals excited to work with young children who have a proven record of quality care and bring positivity to the classroom. We are currently seeking lead and assistant teachers for infant, toddler, preschool and school age classrooms for the 2026-27 school year. We are hiring for both existing classrooms and to open new classrooms. Full time and part time positions are available with flexible schedules and benefits. Pay rates increase with experience and education. The right candidates will be high energy, able to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. They must clear a full background check, pass health screening, be able to lift 30 lbs. and have the ability to move freely around a typical classroom in order to safely supervise the children at all times. This position is full-time (32-40 hours) M-F. Qualifications Lead A Bachelor or Associate Degree in Early Childhood, or similar is preferred (higher pay) A minimum of a Child Development Certificate in Infant/Toddler is required Two years of professional experience working with children in a classroom setting Qualifications Assistant Child Development Associate Certificate preferred A minimum of a high school diploma and two years of professional experience working with children required Equal Employment Opportunity It is the policy and commitment of Diamond Street Early Childhood Center that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical, or mental disability, or religion.
