1 Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Paraeducator to support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs. The successful candidate will assist in delivering special education services, support individualized student goals, and help foster academic, behavioral, and social growth within the educational environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct support to students receiving special education services. Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with special education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families to support student success. Assist with the implementation of behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies. Monitor, document, and communicate student progress. Support the scheduling and facilitation of IEP meetings and related activities. Provide individualized instructional assistance based on student needs. Utilize instructional technology and educational resources to support learning objectives. Assist with student assessments and data collection in accordance with district guidelines. Support positive student behavior in classroom and school settings. Participate in professional development, team meetings, and collaborative problem-solving efforts. Communicate effectively with students, staff, families, and community stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree preferred. Passing score on a state-recognized paraprofessional assessment required. Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting. Knowledge of special education practices and willingness to learn and implement new instructional strategies. Proficiency with computer technology and multimedia applications. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, administrators, and families. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
