Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students and educators in a dynamic school environment for the remainder of the 2025/2026 academic year! Two full-time paraprofessionals are needed to fill essential positions while permanent staff are on leave. These contract opportunities offer the chance to make a meaningful difference across either a high school or elementary setting, with the potential to extend into summer and the following school year depending on leave duration.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role strongly preferred Familiarity with life skills or special education classrooms is a plus Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students Dependable, patient, and flexible in adapting to varying classroom needs High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant coursework or certifications are valued
Key Responsibilities:
Support students one-on-one or in small groups within a classroom environment Assist with classroom management, instructional activities, and academic tasks under teacher direction Provide guidance and supervision in daily life skills for students in designated classrooms Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth Communicate effectively with staff and support individualized student needs Follow district policies and maintain confidentiality regarding student information There are two openings:
High School:
7:15 am - 2:45 pm
Elementary School:
