Job Description

General Summary Conducts community life support training programs on an "as needed" basis.
Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions:
Facilitates the delivery of American Heart Association (AHA) life support education programs. Adheres to all AHA guidelines. Ensures accurate record control. Maintains appropriate credentialing for educational role. Uses feedback from program evaluation mechanisms to improve performance. Fulfills annual minimum scheduling requirements.
Common Expectations:
Provides coaching, feedback, and mentorship to class participants. Completes and submits course records and rosters accurately and on time. Retains/transfers documents per Training Center procedures and PAM recordkeeping requirements. Takes responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of education facilities and properly maintains department equipment. Maintains open communication with Training Center Coordinator and appointed Training Center Faculty. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Qualifications Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required Licenses:
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and Certified BLS Instructor Upon Hire Required or ACLS Instructor Certification Upon Hire Required or Ped Adv Life Support Instructor Upon Hire Required Driver's License Statement:
Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.
