Role:
Join the Primrose School of Collegeville as a Daycare Teacher, where you'll inspire young minds in a nurturing and engaging environment. We are dedicated to fostering a love of learning in our students while providing a supportive atmosphere for our educators.
Responsibilities:
Implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to build a strong community. Encourage creativity and exploration through hands-on activities and play-based learning. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Conduct regular assessments to track children's progress and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young learners. Background check clearance required prior to employment.
