Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of students by supporting educational growth as a Paraprofessional for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. This contract opportunity is perfect for individuals eager to contribute their skills in both high school and elementary settings. Two positions are available, and there is potential to continue with Extended School Year (ESY) and/or Next School Year (NSY) depending on district needs.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working as a Paraprofessional, especially in school environments Ability to assist in both general education and specialized lifeskills classrooms Adaptable and reliable, ready to support teachers and students with diverse needs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Positive, patient, and understanding demeanor when working with children and school staff Background clearances and credentials required by Pennsylvania for school employment
Responsibilities:
Support classroom instruction by working directly with students, individually and in small groups Assist with lifeskills instruction and other specialized programs as needed Encourage positive behaviors and participate in creating a supportive classroom environment Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school personnel to implement student goals Provide support during instructional and non-instructional times, such as transitions, lunch, and recess Complete additional duties as assigned by supervising staff
Role Details:
Fulltime contract role with immediate start, ending June 5, 2026 Two openings: high school hours (7:15 am-2:45 pm) and elementary hours (8:00 am-3:30 pm) Positions available due to leave of absence; return date of permanent staff not yet determined Step into a rewarding role where your support can truly make a difference.
