Job Description
At EarlyDay, we are searching for passionate, dedicated, and nurturing childcare professionals who are ready to use their experience and training to make a difference in children's lives. We have exciting opportunities and are hiring for multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers in Devon, Downingtown, surrounding areas across Chester County, PA. We are looking for both lead teachers and assistant teachers for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
Teacher Responsibilities:
Interact affectionately and respectfully with children Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate professionally and warmly with peers, children, and parents Collaborate effectively and work well with other teachers and school staff members Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising the children at all timesTeacher Qualifications:
Must be 18 years old High School diploma (or equivalent) is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Experience working in daycare, preschool, or child care settings with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is preferred Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred Coursework in early childhood education and child development is preferred Make a difference in daycare and preschool education with EarlyDay and apply today.Job Types:
