Supplemental Healthcare is hiring Paraprofessionals to join our team and work alongside teachers to help students with special needs succeed — academically, socially, and emotionally. Every day, you'll play a key role in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, capable, and valued. $18 - $20 per hour
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent AND either a Passing Score on the ETS ParaPro Exam OR an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university; or at least two years of study (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours) at an accredited college. Minimum of 1 year experience working with children Prior experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management Proficient in the use of standard computer applications Must have excellent written and oral communication skills The ability to work collaboratively with existing staff What you'll be doing: Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be Celebrating small victories every single day Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required You get to build meaningful relationships with students You'll be part of a collaborative, caring school community Every day is different — and never boring You'll go home knowing you made a real impact
