Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children. This role involves working with infants and young children, supporting their growth and development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our students. Responsibilities Help implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment for all children. Provide care for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. Manage classroom activities effectively, promoting positive behavior and cooperation among children. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to support each child's individual needs. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized classroom. Provide first aid as necessary and respond to emergencies in accordance with established procedures. Requirements Proven experience in childcare or as a daycare teacher is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. First aid certification is highly desirable. Ability to engage children through creative activities such as arts, crafts, music, and play. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.
