Skating Program Assistant Director Hours:
10-20 per week (weekdays, weekends & evenings) Love skating? Love teaching? Love the energy of a rink buzzing with lessons, camps, and excited skaters? The Skatium is looking for a Skating Program Assistant Director to help lead our Learn to Skate Program, Flyers Rookie Program, and Summer Camp — plus support lessons, freestyle sessions, clinics, ice shows, and more. This is a hands‑on, people‑centered role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, community‑focused skating environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong skating background — competitive experience, coaching, or program management Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to design, market, and grow skating programs Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to juggle shifting priorities Professional appearance and attitude Ability to pass required screenings Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently Why You'll Love It This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a lively rink environment, loves working with people, and enjoys seeing skaters grow in skill and confidence.
