Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description

This is a 10-month position congruent with the school calendar, allowing for summers off. The starting hourly rate is $14.50, with benefits under the Education Support Personnel Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Position Summary:

The Instructional Aide will work collaboratively with the instructor providing assistance with day-to-day classroom and associated activities, including clinical visits, which directly impacts student achievement. Applicant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and provide Act 24, 34, 114, 151 and 168 clearances upon employment.

Preferred Qualification:

Two years of experience working with children Two years of experience working in health-related field
