Those schools include:

Mon Valley School in Jefferson Hills, PA; Sunrise School in Monroeville, PA; and Pathfinder School in Bethel Park, PA. "Student Aides" assume the duties and responsibilities of paraprofessionals, teacher's assistants and personal care assistants (PCAs). All current PCA/Student Aide positions with the AIU are considered full-time, 35 hours per week. No experience or degree necessary to start. Qualified and approved candidates can typically start within a week of applying with Precision and at the start of the AIU's school year. A Student's Aide will: Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups of students Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials Supervise students in the cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, on field trips, and/or during before and after school programs Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs Competitive pay rate: $17 per hour Clearances required within the last year: PA Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse Clearance FBI fingerprints through the Dept. of Education Act 126 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training) Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete) Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should be more than 1 year old) Don't know how to get your clearances? Additional Requirements:

It is preferred candidates have some experience (at least 1 -3 months) working with children in grades PK-12. Candidates replying to this role usually have experience or interest in other roles including Teacher's Assistant, Assistant Teacher, Teacher's Aide, Classroom Aide, Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, and Teaching Assistant.
