r41833-15901 Job Description Multiple Paraprofessional Openings $19/hour | 13 Full-Time Openings | Grades K7 We are hiring 13 paraprofessionals to join school-based special education classrooms in Johnstown, PA. These positions are a great opportunity for candidates interested in working with children and making an impact in a school setting. Extensive special education experience is not required. Openings are available across grades K7 in autistic support, emotional support, and life skills classrooms. If you have a preferred age group or classroom setting, let us know when you apply! Paraprofessionals will work alongside teachers and school staff to support students with classroom activities, academics, daily routines, transitions, social-emotional skills, and individualized educational needs. Candidates should be flexible, patient, accepting of others, and comfortable working with students from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. An associate degree or higher is preferred. Candidates without an associate degree may need to complete an additional paraprofessional credential/training requirement. Previous school or special education experience is welcomed, but there is no minimum number of years of experience required. Positions begin August 26, 2026 and run through June 3, 2027.
