Day Program Aide

Position Summary:

An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This part-time position works various days, Monday through Friday, normally with a schedule of 8:45 to 2:30. Hours can average up to 19 per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

High School Diploma/GED. Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire date. Current driver s license with the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.

Preferred:

One-year experience working with individuals in human services field. Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE). Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP). Associates Degree and six months to one-year experience. Bachelor s Degree. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
