Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant- Toddler teacher to join our educational team as a part-time job with working hours from 2pm-7pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Toddler teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive classroom setting. Utilize first aid knowledge to ensure the safety and well-being of all students during school hours. Requirements High School Diploma or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory at the time of hiring; training will be provided if necessary. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff members.
