Instructional Assistant We're hiring an Instructional Assistant to support students and teachers in creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. In this role, you'll provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students while helping them succeed throughout the school day. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students. Assist students with behavioral, emotional, and social development. Support student mobility, classroom transitions, and daily living activities as needed. Reinforce lesson plans and instructional activities directed by teachers and educational staff. Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and participation. Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, therapists, and families to support student success. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or related setting preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students of varying academic, behavioral, and developmental needs. Ability to remain patient, professional, and supportive in a fast-paced educational environment. Preferred Skills Experience supporting students with special education needs, behavioral challenges, or developmental disabilities. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom support techniques. Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and teacher-directed interventions. #education
