Job Description:
The Department of Natural Sciences is soliciting applications for a full-time, associate faculty position (non-tenure track) to join our dynamic, collaborative team as our Human A&P Instructor/Lab Coordinator. We encourage applications from individuals with a strong and diverse background in the life sciences who value undergraduate teaching. The renewable position would start August 2026. Successful candidates will be expected to have teaching experience, specifically teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology for nursing/health science majors.
Responsibilities:
Teaching lecture and/or lab courses Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab Coordination (set up and break down lab stations weekly, coordinate with and train other lab instructors, supervise lab review sessions and proctor makeup lab exams) Scheduled in-person lab review sessions and proctoring makeup exams Attendance at Departmental Meetings Immaculata University is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
Masters or PhD in Biology or a closely related field with a demonstrated broad knowledge base in Human Anatomy & Physiology, and interest in teaching lecture and lab courses in these subjects. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills/lab skills. Strong computer and technology skills, with the ability and willingness to learn and become highly proficient in emerging instructional technologies, particularly the Anatomage Table.
