The Mapleton School located in Malvern, PA is seeking Teacher Assistants to provide direct behavioral intervention to students. • Career Accelerator Program The Mapleton School located in Malvern, PA offers education curriculum to children functioning at all grade levels.

A multi-sensory educational strategy is used at all schools, employing traditional instruction, hands-on and independent learning, as well as technology, to individualize a student's progress in all academic areas, particularly math and reading. The transition from school to career, and all of the necessary interrelated skills, are a main focus of the school program. Devereux's approved private schools offer high quality, innovative special education programs that work in tandem with families and school districts to ensure that students can return to their local schools and communities with the tools they will need to succeed. Children and young adults may come to Devereux as a day student, or as a part of residential treatment. EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Special Education preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders preferred.
