Job Description
Ducklings Early Learning Center is currently looking for a creative and caring Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team. Must love making new friends, smiling a lot, and going home happily exhausted because you just had The Best Day EVER!!! If you have a passion for working with children, are dedicated to early education, and wish to be surrounded by like-minded individuals, we want you to be a part of our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and participate in the smooth running of a loving Toddler classroom at a highly regarded educational childcare center.
- Help to deliver lesson plans, care for each child individually, and support the lead teacher in all ways necessary.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
- Communicate positively with parents, co-workers, and management.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- CDA, Two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required.
- Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center preferred.
- Experience using Brightwheel a plus.
- Able to furnish required clearances in a timely manner.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sense of humor encouraged.
- Must be 18 years old to apply.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay per hour will be determined by education and experience.Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9 hour shift with a one-hour break
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)

- Early childhood education: 1 year (Required)
